Stupidity Runs on Dunkin’

Bronx Thief Steals Cash Register from Dunkin’Donuts Window CaughtonTape

BRONX- Guess stupidity runs on Dunkin’. A Bronx thief was caught on camera stealing the cash register from a Dunkin’ Donuts drive thru window. 

Police released surveillance video of two men caught robbing a Morris Heights Dunkin’ Donuts. At around 1:50 am on May 2nd, the pair were caught on camera outside the coffee shop at 1735 Jerome Avenue. 

The video shows that as one of the men acted as look out, the other, who dressed like an Isaac Hayes impersonator, opened the drive thru window. Once opened the man leaned inside and pulled out the cash drawer. The men then both fled on foot. 

Police released stills from the surveillance video of the two men. The first suspect is an African-American man with a black, with a beard and orange sunglasses. He was last seen wearing a black du-rag, a black vest, a gray sweater and gray sweatpants. 

The alleged lookout  is an African-American man who was last seen wearing an orange hooded sweater, black sweatpants and black and white sneakers.
